OnlyLeft — Privacy Policy

OnlyLeft is a Shopify app that displays an urgency badge on product pages. It only ever shows real data — real inventory or real view counts. We collect and store the minimum data needed to render that badge.

What we collect

Shop domain — to associate your settings with your store.
Your app settings — chosen mode (Auto / Interest / Trending), low-stock threshold, minimum views, trending threshold, view window, badge copy, color, position, and any per-collection / per-tag / per-product rules you create.
Aggregated product-page view counts — to power the Interest and Trending modes, the app keeps an aggregate daily tally of how many times each product page is viewed. This is a plain count only — no visitor identifiers, no IP, no identity, no cart contents, no session data, and nothing that identifies an individual shopper (no PII).

What we do NOT collect

Order data
Customer data (name, email, address, etc.)
Checkout or cart contents
Inventory data (we read it from Shopify's Admin API and never store it)
Cookies or browser fingerprints on the storefront

Scopes we request

read_products only. No read_orders, no read_customers.

Where data is stored

Neon Postgres in AWS us-east-1.

Data retention

App settings persist for the lifetime of the install. When you uninstall the app, all your data is deleted within 30 days (we honor the app/uninstalled and shop/redact Shopify webhooks).

You can request access to or deletion of your shop's data at any time by emailing danny@8thorigin.com.
